Also, I learned about the fur trade and trading routes Washington had. They would export food from Washington to other places, in return for other food. They would also trade what they had, to other groups, who had food they wanted. It was a good trade idea. I also learned that it was a harder life back in the old times, because people didn’d just get food from stores, people would actually grow there own food..

I think over all that I did a pretty good job on the project.. I could have used a little bit more detail and that would have made it better, but I used information that was true using (.org,.edu, etc..) and didn’t use unreal info. This over all was a fun project and I learned alot from this.

Dear Mom and Dad,

My first trimester has gone pretty well! I think that I have improved on some things since last year and some of them would be in science. I have been taking very good notes that Dr. Cruz has been giving us, but I do think I could improve on focusing on the rocks of the day so I do a better job on the test. In Language Arts, I have seen big improvements! I’v noticed that I’ve been keeping up on homework and I’m getting really good grades! In Math, I noticed that every time I would get a grade that was below a B, I would always try to correct that so one little grade won’t effect the over all score. Last but not least, Social Studies. I noticed that I did a good job working in class but when it came to tests I didn’t do the best. To improve that, I think I could use a little more time to study for the test expecially if I don’t understand the chapter.

All in all, there are some little changes that could be made but otherwise I had a great trimester!

Thanks for the help!

Amanda

This weeks learning target was a good one. It taught and told us that we have to do good research to be able to do a good job on the project. It also taught us that we would have to make inferences and use good key words. This week we used a wiki to do a social studies project. I really liked this because we were able to use the computers and go to the computer lab. I definitely want to use wiki again!
